• Reviews and analyzes reports and journal entries. • Manages and leads one staff accountant. • Recommends, designs, and implements ongoing improvements in accounting processes. • Strives for continuous improvement, innovation, and cost reduction. • Responds to inquiries from borrowers/merchants, management, vendors, and others. • Daily cash settlement operations. • Overseeing accounting operations such as revenue reconciliation, loan origination reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. • Preparing timely financial statements. • Ensuring prompt and accurate month-end and year-end close processes. • Running payroll on a semi-monthly basis. • Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit. • Developing and forecasting budgets under the direction of CFO. • Determining the effect of potential business decisions on financial policy. • Collaborating as company representative with business partners. • Cooperating with business units and support functions across the company. • Ensuring compliance with company and statutory requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or finance. CPA required. • 5+ years related work experience. • Proficient with QuickBooks. • Proficient with Excel. • Outstanding knowledge and understanding of applicable laws and regulations. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work as part of a team.
