Description

• The Senior QA Analyst is responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly • Support the team and the QA Lead in running day-to-day QA activities • Autonomously perform and take ownership of the testing activities without guidance • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities • Perform all testing activities, including requirements analysis, test design, test review, test execution, results analysis, and reporting • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle • Identify, record, document, and track bugs to their resolution • Investigate the causes of non-conforming software • Track quality assurance metrics like test execution progress, defect densities and open defect counts • Participates in sprint planning, retrospectives, QA demos, and daily stand-ups • Participates in continuous improvement activities • Provides proactive advice and feedback throughout the software testing lifecycle for prevention and early correction of quality issues • Evaluate and promote teamwork, initiative, work ethic, values adherence, and report findings to discipline leads

Requirements

• Advanced English Proficiency (B2 reading, writing, and conversation) • 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance • Good knowledge of information & communication technologies • Good knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes • Good knowledge of SQL and scripting • Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment • Proven ability to follow processes to ensure high-quality deliverables for the client • Proven acumen, negotiation skills, and proven ability to interact with senior-level employees • ISTQB or similar certification is a plus • Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Applied Computing, Software Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience as Software QA Engineer
