Description

• Takes ownership of security needs for operational data protection • Assists with training and support to build efficiencies in security operations • Identifies risks to confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems • Leverages security tools to identify and classify risks • Conducts scans to uncover vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies • Supports attainment and maintenance of industry certifications • Articulates technical and security requirements to leadership • Participates in disaster recovery and business continuity planning • Accepts ownership of assigned projects and initiatives • Supports internal business leadership as a subject‐matter‐expert

Requirements

• An Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred with additional training or equivalent work experience within the industry • Industry Certifications such as CISSP, Security +, Network + is preferred • Experience with HIPAA, HITRUST, and ISO 27001/ISO 27799 preferred • Extensive working knowledge of operational processes • Excellent communication skills • Understanding of industry terminology • Critical thinking • Ability to manage time efficiently and to meet specific deadlines
