• Develop software and 2D/3D visualizations • Design and develop 2D/3D GIS software • Research and implement real-time rendering technology features • Solve complex problems with design, algorithms, development, and user experience • Identify and resolve bugs/performance issues • Collaborate with other software development teams • Support geodesigners, urban planners, architects, and engineers • Support GIS visualization technology
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field • 2+ years of experience in 2D or 3D computer graphics utilizing C++ • Familiarity with a range of specialty areas in graphics programming • Strong problem-solving skills • Excellent written and verbal communication • Time management, prioritization, teamwork, and interpersonal skills • Working knowledge of graphics interchange file format specifications • Familiarity with Esri ArcGIS platform or other GIS products • Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field (recommended)
