Description

• Responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the installation of EV charging infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. • Design electrical systems and components for EV charging stations, including power distribution, grounding, and protection systems. • Develop detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts. • Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NEC, UL, IEC). • Lead and manage EV charging infrastructure projects from conception to completion. • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met. • Prepare project plans, schedules, and budgets. • Oversee the installation and commissioning of EV charging stations. • Conduct site assessments and inspections to ensure proper installation and functionality. • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). • Professional Engineer (PE) license required. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on EV charging infrastructure. • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NEC, UL, IEC). • Experience with power distribution, load calculations, and electrical system design. • Proficiency in CAD software and electrical design tools. • Excellent project management and organizational skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
