Description

• Understand customer needs and assist in developing a technical sales strategy. • Perform product demonstrations live in the field or via video conference. • Provide pre-sales support to customers in establishment of configurations and services. • Participate in product, sales and role-specific trainings. • Contribute content for general customer education. • Assist in responding to RFPs. • Provide pre and post sales support to Account Executives and Account Managers. • Research prospects business/technology prior to engaging with the prospect. • Build and support customer POC/POV solutions (including WAF, Delivery, Streaming, Edge Compute).

Requirements

• 8+ year experience in a similar role. • Experience selling to or working in relevant industry. • Knowledge in cloud and web related technologies is required. • Customer facing experience is essential. • Experience performing demos in front of technical and business focused prospects. • Comfort with networking/security systems/protocols and Linux systems are essential. • Knowledge of video streaming and W3 technologies is a plus. • Ability to code/learn a web scripting/programming language is a plus. • Impeccable written communication skills are important. • Comfortable keeping up with technology trends in cloud services. • Open, curious and receptive to new ideas. • Willing to mentor junior sales engineers. • Willing to educate Account Executives and Account Managers. • Ability to travel domestically. • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or comparable field is preferred.
