Description

• Leading all aspects of Fivetran’s tax function, including federal, state, and international income tax filings, tax provisions, annual audits, sales tax reporting and remittance, and strategic tax planning. • Identify opportunities to optimize the company’s tax position while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience at some combination of public accounting firm, private company, or start-up, showing progressive complexity in scope and responsibilities • As a CPA or CA, you will possess a comprehensive understanding of preparing the quarterly and annual income tax provision in accordance with ASC 740. • Experience in implementing and maintaining compliance of SOX controls • Understanding of the IPO readiness process and their experience/involvement in IPO readiness activities. • Strong project management skills encompassing attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and lead high priority tasks on concurrent timelines • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills as demonstrated by the ability to translate complex concepts across multiple audiences • Experience working with modern software and systems, particularly NetSuite and Avalara
