Description

• Flexport IT is looking for a Staff Systems engineer with a focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer. • Responsible for designing, implementing, and administering IAM solutions to ensure the secure and efficient management of user identities and access privileges. • Automating workflows, protecting sensitive systems and data, mitigating security risks, and maintaining compliance. • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy IAM strategies, lead IT engineering projects, and provide technical leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or comparable experience). • 8-11 years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems engineering and broad management of various IT services. • In-depth knowledge of IAM concepts and protocols, such as IGA, RBAC, MFA, LDAP, SAML, SCIM, OAuth. • Strong hands-on experience with IAM tools and platforms, such as Okta and directory services. • Scripting and automation experience • Working knowledge of SaaS / collaboration tools: Google Workspace, Slack, Jira/Confluence, O365 • Experienced in managing Mac and Windows devices with Jamf and InTune. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • A "compliance first" attitude to keep our regulators happy and enthusiastic about Flexport since we operate in a heavily regulated industry.
