Description

• Work with company leadership to forecast and track monthly, quarterly, and yearly spend across operations, personnel, consulting, and engineering/R&D • Process vendor payments, leases, payroll, and more • Perform month-end closing; reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable activities • Identify, onboard, and manage vendors and suppliers; support teams in price and contract negotiations; create and track purchase orders • Work with leadership to ensure business taxes are properly categorized and filed • Support financial reporting for board meetings, investor relations, and venture capital raises • Strategize and execute ways to improve operational efficiency, reduce spend, and lower costs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration • 4+ years of professional experience in accounting or finance • 6+ years of industry experience (nice to have) • Experience with finance and accounting as it relates to manufacturing, capital equipment, and/or hardware (nice to have) • Experience working in an engineering and/or tech startup environment (nice to have) • Advanced degree in business, finance, or accounting (nice to have) • Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) (nice to have) • Advanced Excel skills (nice to have) • Experience with QuickBooks (nice to have) • 'No job too big or small' mindset (nice to have)
