Description
• Leading architecture, design, and development of data systems for AI products • Implementing scalable data architecture • Designing and building data infrastructure systems • Defining schemas, storage formats, and database technologies • Developing near real-time stream processing data pipelines • Working closely with product/program managers and cross-functionally with engineering teams • Evolving data infrastructure and tools • Designing and launching new data models and pipelines
Requirements
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science and Engineering or equivalent industry experience • 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer/Architect • 5+ years of industry experience in building large-scale production systems • Proficiency in large-scale data processing, query engines, and storage formats • Experience working with Terabytes of data • Preferred experience in time series and image data processing • Experience in distributed systems design and common data platform architecture • Proficient in technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Redis, Cassandra, Pandas, Dask, Airflow, Apache Beam, MongoDb, Hive, Impala, Hazelcast, Athena, Presto • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Java, Go, Rust • Experience architecting and implementing large operational data stores • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Plus: Experience in Kubernetes, Kubeflow, Docker, container technologies, infrastructure as code, CI/CD technologies
