Description
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements • Conduct research and analysis of accounting principles • Lead implementation of new accounting standards • Review and analyze financial statements • Collaborate with cross-functional teams • Prepare technical accounting memos and documentation • Evaluate and document accounting policies and procedures • Support external audit activities • Stay informed about emerging accounting issues • Provide training and guidance to finance and accounting staff
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance • 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting • Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, ASC 606, and ASC 842 • Experience researching and interpreting complex accounting issues • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to effectively communicate complex accounting concepts • Experience working in a public accounting firm (i.e., Big 4) • SOX and SEC reporting experience • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software applications
