Description
• Hims & Hers is seeking a self-motivated and adaptable Legislative Counsel to join our growing, collaborative Legal team. • The successful candidate will be a team player, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working in a fast-paced remote work environment. • The Legislative Counsel will primarily support the Public Policy team on the company’s multi-state and federal legislative and regulatory strategy on a variety of subject matter areas impacting direct-to-consumer telehealth, mail order, and compounding pharmacy ecosystem.
Requirements
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and current active license to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction. • 5+ years practicing at a law firm, government, or in-house. • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Experience analyzing, drafting, amending, and reviewing state and federal legislation and regulation. • An interest in and ability to get up to speed quickly on complex policy issues impacting the company. • Strong ability to think quickly and simultaneously manage a complex workload and shifting priorities. • Resourceful, skilled self-starter with a team-oriented mindset and positive attitude. • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills. • Previous experience working on or familiarity with health care or pharmacy policy matters is a plus.
