• Perform cryogenic measurements of state-of-the-art semiconductor spin qubit devices • Conduct low-noise, cryogenic experiments • Develop new measurement techniques and methods • Analyze results and report findings to team members • Collaborate with measurement-system-engineering team • Utilize engineering analysis tools for improvements • Analyze measurement results and define device improvements • Work in a laboratory environment and at a computer for extended periods
• 3+ years industry or national lab experience with quantum systems • Detailed knowledge of quantum systems and control hardware • Familiarity with scientific programming • Experience in scientific communication • Preferred experience in cryogenic testing, rapid measurement, time-domain control, and qubit characterization • M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or Physics with 3 years quantum hardware experience, or B.S. with 4 years experience • Must be able to climb ladders, work safely in a lab environment, and obtain US Government security clearance
