Description
• You will be developing containerized (micro) services for a distributed multi-tenant system • You will design features and improvements, work out the details, and deliver a rock-solid implementation • You will also mentor junior engineers, new-grads, and interns • You will primarily write code in Go and work with the Neo4j graph databases • Own critical features and subsystems, and the entire software development lifecycle • Own operational aspects of the system to understand how to write better software • Own code quality, with early developer testing to ensure resilient products. • Partner with Product Management to review and refine requirements • Develop deep understanding of problems our customers need solved through interaction with stakeholders
Requirements
• Bachelors in computer science or equivalent degree. Master’s degree a plus • 5+ years building distributed & scalable software services • Passion for software development, willing to constantly learn • Deep expertise in one or more types of data stores (SQL, KV, GraphDB) • AWS / Azure / GCP cloud experience: extensively used one of these platforms at the API/programming level • Our platform is K8s based so experience delivering a containerized service is desired • Language requirements: experience in Go or a similar language (Java, C++) • Terraform, CloudFormation are nice to have • General networking knowledge: TCP/IP, HTTP, REST • Unix/Linux programming environment experience
