Description
â˘Integrating with partner web services and data feeds to acquire content â˘Directly communicating with travel partners on technical issues related to their static data APIs, etc. â˘Backend Development of KAYAK Hotel & Geographic data content with focus on efficiency, scalability, and automation in regards to day-to-day efforts â˘Identifying and resolving complex software problems related to the KAYAK data content â˘Utilize and develop against several different types of data storage systems that support the KAYAK content, including but not limited to MySQL, Redis, proprietary KAYAK storage systems.
Requirements
â˘Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or related field and/or 3+ years professional experience â˘Passion for clean code, love for quality and unit testing â˘Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming â˘Experience in the following: â˘Java (JDK 8) â˘Spring, SQL, HTTP, XML, JSON â˘MySQL, Git, Tomcat â˘JUnit, Mockito â˘Working in a semi-micro service environment
