Description
• Advise on labor and employment law matters • Partner with People Team to support employee lifecycle matters • Draft, review and update employment related policies and agreements • Support global employment matters and workplace investigations
Requirements
• J.D. from an ABA-approved law school and an active member in good standing with the state bar association (CA, NY preferred) • 7+ years of labor and employment experience, including in-house experience • Deep expertise in CA labor and employment law • Demonstrated judgment, personal integrity, discretion regarding confidential matters, and interpersonal skills • Ability to independently research and advise on complex legal questions • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Experience in advising on variable compensation plans and wage and hour compliance • Experience in advising on workforce change strategies • Ability to be flexible in a fast-paced environment
