Description
• Provide thought leadership and strategic direction on blockchain technology legal and regulatory issues. • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of complex agreements, investments, service-provider agreements and others. • Stay up-to-date on relevant U.S. and international laws and regulations and public policy matters affecting the industry.
Requirements
• Currently licensed in a U.S. state; JD or equivalent degree from a top-tier school with a strong academic record. • Minimum of 4+ years of legal experience, preferably including in-house experience, with a background in corporate, technology transactions, securities and/or regulatory matters. • Strong interest and understanding of digital currency and blockchain technology. Experience with legal issues arising in blockchain applications preferred. • Excellent negotiating, drafting and transaction structuring skills (in particular, the ability to manage negotiations with multiple stakeholders), and strong analytical and organizational skills. • Proven problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Collaborative, positive and team-oriented style with a proven record of building strong relationships, both internally and externally, at all levels and across different teams and functions. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Solutions-oriented with strong business acumen.
