Description

• Empower and inspire a team of engineers by mentoring their growth and fostering a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement to retain top technical talent. Help to drive recruitment, plan headcount based on needs, and onboard new engineers • Champion technical excellence through design reviews, test coverage, optimization, and proactive tech debt reduction. Ensure engineers are making the right trade-offs to ensure high scalability, security, performance and simplicity • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and data scientists to transform ideas into reality. Influence product roadmaps from a technical perspective and ensure the team is moving to execute in the right direction • Be a hands-on contributor, writing code across the stack alongside your teams

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience building and deploying production-ready RESTful web services in cloud environments (AWS or GCP) with Agile and CI/CD pipelines • 2+ years of engineering management experience • A "get things done" attitude fueled by curiosity, passion, and a knack for creative problem-solving • Full-Stack engineering experience with Object-oriented Programming languages (Java or Python), JavaScript, and relational databases (MySQL) • Strong system design expertise and a passion for building scalable, maintainable code • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Proven track record of building and scaling high performing teams
