• Ensure all quality management systems and processes are compliant with AS9100 standards. • Lead internal and external audits to verify compliance with quality standards and address any findings. • Participate in MRB activities to evaluate and disposition non-conforming materials. • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve material quality issues effectively. • Lead root cause analysis efforts and implement corrective and preventative actions to address quality issues. • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of CAPA processes to ensure long-term improvements. • Develop, document, and implement quality procedures and processes to improve product quality and operational efficiency. • Provide training and support to ensure adherence to established processes. • Conduct regular surveillance audits to assess compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement. • Report audit findings and collaborate with relevant teams to implement corrective actions. • Review and verify design specifications and BOMs to ensure they meet quality and compliance requirements. • Work closely with design teams to provide quality input during the development phase. • Develop and implement inspection methodologies to ensure accurate and consistent product quality. • Utilize metrology tools and techniques to validate product specifications and tolerances.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. • Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality engineering within the aerospace industry. • Extensive knowledge of AS9100 standards and aerospace quality systems. • Proven experience in MRB processes, CAPA, and quality procedure development. • Strong analytical skills and experience with root cause analysis techniques. • Familiarity with design reviews, BOM management, and inspection methodologies. • Proficiency in metrology tools and techniques. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. • Relevant certifications (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer) are a plus.
