Description

• Coordinate and execute testing for automated driving and advanced driver assistance system testing activities with external service providers and internal stakeholders. • Overall planning and coordination for test plans. This includes communication with internal team members, colleagues from Germany, and external service providers to schedule, plan, track and report progress, and achieve milestone deliverables for route completion and reporting. • Detailed coordination of testing requests for the operations team. This includes determining resource capacity, vehicle planning, assessment of test requests, and allocating resources accordingly. Coordinate with external test operators and drivers to assign responsibilities to shifts on a daily basis. • Conducting and coordinating training test operators and drivers on their roles and responsibilities during testing and about system/vehicle functions. • Monitor and schedule planned vehicle appointments to maintain test vehicles. Coordinate any repairs in the event of vehicle break-downs. • Understand fundamental technologies of AD and ADAS vehicles to communicate with test drivers on vehicle issues or faults and communicate to AD and ADAS engineers when issues arise. • Facilitate the timely exchange of data downloads and transfers. Coordinate support for issues with local data cluster as needed. • Track, evaluate and report on assigned KPIs for overviews to project team and management. Identify, implement and verify opportunities for improvement within the team and area of responsibilities to support quality improvements and cost effective operations. • Spearhead communication and interconnection with project team and ensure effectiveness of local testing to overall project. • Handle regulatory interpretation and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (mechanical, computer, computer science, mechatronics, electrical, etc) • 3+ years of relevant work experience. • AD/ADAS Knowledge: Knowledge of Automated Driving and Driver Assistance Systems. Knowledge of competitor systems and all AD/ADAS sensor technologies. • Project Management Skills: Ability to coordinate across multiple departments the vehicle updating, testing, and reporting in order to deliver on-time results in a dynamic environment. • Organizational and Leadership Skills: Ability to organize people, budgets, logistics, and workshop tasks within the Tech Center, as well as with the customer departments, functional teams, and management in Germany. Ability to participate and lead groups on test-drives. • Interpersonal and Team skills: Experience in intercultural environment. Must be able to independently build-up working relationships with intra-company expert departments in Germany, India, and China. • Ability to travel up to 15% including domestic and international business trips and test drives. • Experience with dynamic driving. • Periodically lift up to 25 pounds primarily for the preparation of test drives and accompanying equipment. • Frequent use of speech, vision, hearing, use of hands for computer use and presentations. Frequent sitting, standing and reaching with hands. • Valid US Driver License with a clean driving record and 3 years of licensed driving experience.
