Description

• Responsible for overseeing the contracts function. • Emphasizing negotiation and execution of a wide range of company contracts. • Lead the continuous improvement of the contracts program. • Work with business owners and Legal team to manage legal aspects of contracts program. • Train employees on the Standard Operating Procedure for review of contracts. • Oversee junior attorneys and paralegals in drafting and negotiation of agreements. • Develop and maintain an alternative language library for contracts. • Assist Legal team with strategic transactions and corporate compliance. • Drive improvements in Legal operations through planning and process enhancement.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited Law School with a minimum of 15 years experience. • Minimum ten years of contract management-level experience within a contract function of a life science/biotech company. • Significant demonstrated experience with an electronic document management system or contract management system. • Proven experience negotiating all types of vendor-based and other company agreements.
