• Lead and mentor a group of designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment and ensuring high-quality design across all growth and revenue projects • Develop a design strategy that aligns with Tinder’s business goals, focusing on user acquisition, retention, and monetization • Actively participate in the design process, contributing directly to projects when needed • Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to identify opportunities and deliver impactful design solutions • Provide guidance and support to your team, helping them navigate complex and ambiguous challenges • Ensure that design decisions are driven by user research, data analysis, and a deep understanding of user behavior • Stay ahead of industry trends and new technologies • Clearly communicate design strategies and concepts to senior leadership and other stakeholders • Use data to measure the success of design initiatives, iterating on designs to improve performance and user satisfaction
• 5+ years of experience leading a product design team, ideally focusing on growth and revenue projects • Ability to balance high-level strategic thinking with detailed design work • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, UX/UI best practices, and the ability to translate business goals into compelling designs • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience working closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment • Strong ability to use data to inform design decisions and measure success • A history of innovative thinking and a passion for pushing design boundaries to achieve business goals • Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
