Description
• Responsible for creating a secure environment for classified programs • Enforce adherence to security laws and policies • Coordinate with government representatives on classified matters • Establish training for personnel • Conduct compliance inspections and develop corrective action plans • Manage personnel security records and access quotas • Assist with security education training and inspections • Maintain accountability of controlled documents and media • Ensure necessary clearances for personnel in secure areas • Perform Communication Security (COMSEC) duties • Participate in Risk Management Framework activities • Review security documentation and provide recommendations • Interpret security classification guides • Review industry interfaces and operations security procedures • Develop Program Protection Implementation Plans • Participate in system design reviews • Investigate and document security incidents • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
Requirements
• Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI Eligibility • 3-5 years of CPSO/Industrial Security experience • Knowledge of Government policies such as NISPOM, DoD SAP Manuals, ICD-705 • Capable of working as a team member or independently • Experience in OPSEC & Program Protection Planning • Experience with classified material handling and documentation • Knowledge of ICD 705 and technical specifications for construction of classified areas • Formal appointment as a control officer
