• As a Director, Social Media, you’ll own strategic direction for the Always On brand channels for an exciting new client - a creative technology giant with a 3+ year relationship ahead of us. • You will help shape the future of social media advertising for one of the world's most iconic and forward-thinking tech brands with revolutionary software solutions that empower creativity and productivity across the globe. • This role will be part of a senior cross-functional team dedicated to this client. As part of this relationship you will walk the halls and collaborate with senior clients and internal teams three days a week from their office in downtown San Francisco.
• 8-12+ years of relevant experience • Professionally experienced, and highly passionate about creative marketing on social media (priority platforms are Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and X) • Be onsite at client’s office in San Francisco for approximately 3 days per week • Extremely familiar with the social media landscape and products (organic and paid) and how they can be leveraged for key marketing objectives. • Proven ability to proactively identify opportunities or threats and propose and implement solutions to navigate them. • A broad understanding of digital marketing and how social media contributes to brand/business growth. • Preferred but not critical experience in the tech industry, with a track record of understanding different product suites and product marketing functions on a global scale • Proven ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration across account, media, production, analytics, client teams and beyond. • Extensive experience in social-first creative agencies, leading organic & paid social, and social-first campaigns. We also highly value in-house experience at tech socially-savvy consumer brands. • Demonstrated ability to analyze and understand audience traits and behaviors on social media, both globally and locally with proven success in creating and executing strategy. • Demonstrated experience handling multiple clients, projects and workstreams across different territories and proven experience working with or for complex organizational structures • An obsession and enthusiasm with emerging social platforms and spaces • Passion and experience delighting clients and going above & beyond. • Proven ability to thrive in an often unstructured, fast-paced environment. • Spreads Joy!
