Description

• This person will support the grant programs, disputes and commercial matters • Staying abreast of regulatory framework and developments in the blockchain space, and assisting HR with management of employee, consultant and vendor relations

Requirements

• Minimum 8+ years of combined experience in major law firms and in-house legal departments in high-growth tech companies • Deep understanding of the U.S. Securities Act, Exchange Act, Investment Company Act and Investment Advisors Act • Ability to efficiently manage a high volume of complex and critical work with urgency and limited supervision • Enthusiasm about blockchain technology, expertise with L1s a strong plus • Experience in advising all levels of the organization, including senior level executives and is comfortable handling projects independently, directly, and in a solutions-oriented manner • Self-starter, quick learner with sense of urgency, highly driven and proactive • Unquestioned integrity and excellent business judgment with the ability to assess and risk-weigh situations quickly often with imperfect information • Great communicator comfortable providing clear, actionable, and practical advice • Solutions-oriented with strong business sensibilities • J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in the United States, Cayman Islands or British Virgin Islands
