Description

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for PSQ Productions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. • Utilize QuickBooks Online to manage financial transactions, reconcile accounts, and support in preparing financial reports. Ensure consistency and accuracy in financial data. • Track and categorize expenses related to events, ensuring they are properly allocated in the accounting system. • Reconcile monthly bank statements and credit card statements to verify the accuracy of financial data. • Utilize moderate Excel skills, particularly in pivot tables, to analyze financial data and assist in the presentation of project-based reports. • Coordinate new and recurring vendor contracts to ensure that contracts are completed in a timely manner. Ensure that vendor insurance is obtained and remains in compliance. • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, enhance efficiency, and maintain data accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. • Proven experience as a staff accountant or admin, with a strong understanding of accounting principles. • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Enterprise and moderate Excel skills, including pivot tables. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. • Knowledge of event production or entertainment industry accounting practices is a plus.
