Description
• Radiant is seeking an excellent technical and people leader to head our software engineering organization. The software team is the backbone of our Digital Twin infrastructure, enabling reliable, real-time, and performant simulations to validate performance and safety of our systems. You will be responsible for the roadmap, schedule, budget, and execution of software milestones towards our 2026 DOME test and beyond. The ideal candidate has a successful track record of leading high performing teams and seeing an early product mature into a robust, comprehensive software solution. The ideal candidate also has exposure to building software in hardware-centric environments, and has experience building fault-tolerant, highly reliable systems. You will continue to hire and grow the team as software requirements grow and manage DevOps as well.
Requirements
• Bachelors in computer science, computer engineering, or similar discipline. • 4+ years of software development experience. • 3+ years leading software teams. • Experience in developing software for a hardware product realized from concept to production. • 1+ years leading and mentoring software managers. • Proven track record of leading high performing software teams and overseeing software operations, best practices, methodologies, and tools. • Experience in interdisciplinary technical environments solving complex, ambiguous problems. • Exceptional ability to pivot from diving deep into technical problems to big picture strategy development. • Experience with AWS. • Demonstrated interest in driving the forefront of nuclear energy.
