• Company Overview: At Relativity Space, we aim to build the next great commercial launch company and become a leading force in additive manufacturing innovation. • About the Team: The Factory Test team is responsible for hardware testing in Long Beach facilities, supporting everything from large structural tests to precise valve actuation. • About the Role: As a Data & Control Systems Engineer I, you will integrate and operate data systems at our Long Beach facilities, working alongside crews to get projects online effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. • Electrical engineering fundamentals knowledge. • Experience with signal generators, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment to verify hardware designs. • Proven ownership, accountability, and success in delivering products with stakeholders. • No previous aerospace experience is required for this position. • Experience specifying, selecting, and integrating sensors and actuators such as pressure transducers, RTDs, strain gages, thermocouples, solenoid valves, accelerometers, microphones, etc. • Experience with COTS data acquisition systems such as NI, Dewesoft, Beckhoff etc. • Experience developing and tuning closed-loop control logic. • Familiar with designing electrical control cabinets and wiring harnesses. • Familiar with scripting languages such as Python or MATLAB for preforming analysis or writing automation.
