Description
• Developing electronic designs for complex avionics hardware • Architecting new box-level solutions for key avionics products • Engaged in circuit-card level design • Defining and refining key hardware requirements and development assurance processes • Travel required 10% of the time
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent experience • 5+ years of full cycle electronics hardware development experience in a professional environment • Extensive professional experience with designing and simulating circuit cards using tools such as Altium Designer and SPICE • Advanced degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering is preferred • Experience with aviation development assurance standards (e.g. RTCA/DO-254) • Experience with high speed digital interfaces (e.g. PCIe, DDR, ethernet) • Experience designing electronics to meet rigorous environmental standards • Experience with test equipment, measurement techniques, and processes for hardware verification
