Description

• Design, analysis, modeling, simulation, and characterization of high-speed digital circuits • Participate in a multi-functional engineering team environment to develop and integrate hardware, software, and network technology for products and systems • Establish product objectives, specifications and technical solutions to ensure products satisfy customer requirements and deliverables • Contribute to all aspects of the product life cycle (concept, development, integration, qualification, acceptance, delivery, and maintenance)

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related engineering discipline • 5+ years of experience with digital and microelectronic hardware design, development, test, and verification • 5+ years of experience working with a production facility to make sure hardware is manufacturable and reproducible • Preferred Skills & Experience: - Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline - Experience with PCBA design and Altium or similar software - Experience with DDR, NVMe, NORFlash, and other high density memory products - Experience with Gigabit+ networking components (switches, phys, etc.) - Previously qualified hardware for harsh environments (Space, Aircraft, Autonomous Vehicles, Military, etc.) - Comfortable communicating technical topics to a variety of audiences - Ability to creatively solve problems and weigh against multi-disciplinary requirements together while assessing risk and making design and development decisions - Experience with fault-tolerant avionics computing architectures - Understanding of electrical schematics and electronics manufacturing to analyze and improve test coverage - Hands-on experience with sizing, installing and troubleshooting various electronic components - Experience with wire harness design and build, including associated sub-components - Experience with NX or similar CAD software - Competence with electrical test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, power supplies, etc.) - Creative problem solver that can bring multiple disciplines together with the ability to assess risk and make design and development decisions without all available data - Self-motivated with strong learning, multi-tasking, organizational, communication, and documentation skills - Strong sense of accountability and integrity with excellent written and verbal communication skills
