Description
• Oversee the accounting function. • Work cross functionally to support the client; ensuring accounting function is aligned with strategic business objectives, pro-actively proving data for sound business decision making. • Prepare monthly financial reports including management reports, board reports and investor reports. • Oversee and manage the audit process. • Establish, implement, and monitor accounting policies. • Prepare SEC reports and disclosures. • Manage forecast and financial operating budgets. • Utilize best practice standard tools, templates, and methodologies. • Communicates with the client and management on the status of engagement and key business developments.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or related field. • 10+ years progressive experience in management roles • 5+ years as a Controller consultant. • 7+ years in the Life Sciences industry • Proficiency in accounting software - For example, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle. • MS Excel proficiency including VLOOKUP’s, Pivot Tables, and Macros • Proven experience as a Controller in mid to large size companies • SEC Reporting • Strong understanding and knowledge of US GAAP standards.
