Description

• Leads the strategic and day-to-day operations of mentorship and enrichment programs for high school students • Oversees all facets of the mentorship program including mentor recruitment, selection, onboarding, matching, and programming • Collects, tracks, and manages data relevant to the enrichment program process

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required • 2+ years of experience teaching, coaching, or advising high school students with at least one year of supervisory experience • Previous mentor program experience • Experience working with students in underserved communities and passion for preparing them to lead by example in their families, communities, and careers • Strong work ethic and positive attitude • Demonstrated ability to execute on short-term, deadline-driven tasks, as well as important long-term projects requiring collaboration with internal and external constituencies • Knowledge of the California public college system and top ranked private colleges preferred • A proven track record of repeatedly building successful relationships with partners and leveraging relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive towards successful outcomes • Ability to work a Tuesday through Saturday schedule and occasional evenings as dictated by department needs
