Description

• Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals • Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, gate processes, and shipping • Review and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met • Inspire, develop, and support your direct reports and warehouse associates • Connect your team to our vision and bring focus & intention to delivering on our stated goals • Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members to build an exceptional team • Manage the labor planning needs for your team to meet weekly goals through accurate planning for current and future hiring needs. • Continuously find ways to do things more effectively, ask client-centric questions, share their learnings with others, and work through challenges and obstacles • Review daily performance data and analyze for trends and opportunities. Make informed decisions and respond to changing operational needs effectively e.g. staffing and process changes.

Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or G Suite (Google Sheets, Docs, Slide) and love learning new systems • Four-year degree or equivalent experience • Exceptional people manager with 4+ years leading other people managers of large teams (30-250). Overall, 7+ years of people leadership experience • 100% in person role. Must be able to work in SF office in Mission Bay • Comfortable delivering frequent written and oral feedback
