• Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and inclusivity within our fully distributed and remote company. • Execute and oversee existing performance management processes, including quarterly check-ins, and pulse surveys. • Manage all aspects of People Operations including managing our People tech stack to ensure highest levels of data accuracy and integrity. • Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, addressing and resolving people related issues. • Develop and execute recruitment efforts in partnership with hiring managers and our leadership team to attract talent. • Administer pay and benefits programs, including salary reviews, benefits enrollments, leave of absence administration, perks programs and other rewards that support high performance and employee wellness. • Oversee the People Ops function for Skillshare, including managing one direct report.
• You are experienced and resourceful across many areas of People, with 6+ years of experience working in a tech startup. • You’ve worked in small sized startups in the past (50-100 people). • You thrive in variety and are motivated by making an impact across all areas of People Operations. • You view the people function as an important partner to our leadership team and their teams. • You have a growth mindset and a positive attitude. • You’re an excellent communicator and are comfortable communicating at all levels of the organization.
