• Assist Project Managers, General Contractors, and Superintendents in coordinating construction projects • Monitor a construction quality control program, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with regulations
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture or related field strongly preferred • Minimum 3 years of proven Construction Administration experience • Minimum 2 years' contract administration experience, real estate or asset management industry experience a plus • Knowledge of construction terminology required; knowledge of project phasing preferred; 2 years’ experience with Yardi required; Procore a plus • Ability to interpret General Contractor payment applications in AIA or similar format • Experience with AIA and/or ConsensusDocs contract formats (GMAX, GMP) • Working knowledge of the Mechanic’s Lien process (preliminary notices, releases, etc.; Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work effectively with your team and independently in a fast-paced, demanding environment • Organized, proactive/self-starter, creative, resourceful, detail-oriented; critical thinking skills required • Reliable transportation to travel between construction projects, city offices, etc. • Passionate about our mission to help mitigate homelessness in underserved communities.
