• Manage, coordinate and act as the liaison for multiple service contracts such as janitorial, DI water systems, pest control, fuel distribution, landscaping, waste management, etc. • Partner with Purchasing on the RFP/ bid process for multiple service contracts. • Coordinate operational schedules for vendors to not affect or slow down the SpaceX operation. • Work with suppliers to increase efficiency in service delivery. • Ensure vendors meet SpaceX, Air Force and NASA standards while delivering promised services, materials, and craftsmanship in the agreed timeframe. • Manage the traffic of operational requests and follow through completing of tasks that require support from vendors SpaceX engages in continued service contract. • Interact with tradesman, contractors and building officials to coordinate and execute maintenance repair of facilities support equipment. • Direct system repairs of Facilities, HVAC equipment, electrical systems, fire protection, water and plumbing infrastructure, paint, and grounds keeping. • Coordinate and facilitate furniture requests to align with site standards. • Manage fleet vehicle requests, insurance, tags and maintenance with automotive shop.
• High school diploma or equivalency certificate • 3+ years of experience in facilities maintenance with the capability organizing work with multiple trades. • Facilities Management Professional (FMP), Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification. • Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or related field. Must be organized and self-driven capable of working independently with little direction • Demonstrate innovative and futuristic thinking to drive continuous improvement • Ability to pass Air Force background check for Vandenberg • Ability to provide 24x7 on-call support in emergency situations • Must be comfortable working in a high-stress environment balancing several projects at any given time, and the flexibility to adjust for abrupt changes in strategic direction.
