Description

• Monitor access points, including entrances, exits, and gates, to control the flow of personnel, visitors, and vehicles. • Verify the identity of individuals seeking entry by checking identification badges, credentials, or visitor passes. • Enforce access control policies and procedures to prevent unauthorized entry and maintain the security of the facility. • Issue temporary access badges or passes to visitors and contractors, ensuring they are escorted and supervised as necessary. • Maintain accurate records of access control activities, including logs of visitors, contractors, and deliveries. • Provide assistance and directions to visitors and employees regarding access control procedures and entry requirements. • Report any security incidents, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel. • Stay informed about security protocols, emergency procedures, and access control technologies through ongoing training and professional development.

Requirements

• BSIS Guard Card • Previous experience in access control, security, or a related field is preferred but not required. • Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately verify identification and credentials. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse range of individuals. • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, especially during high-traffic or emergency situations. • Basic proficiency in using computers and access control systems/software. • Physical fitness and ability to stand or sit for extended periods and perform occasional lifting or carrying of equipment. • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
