• Reporting to the Chief Financial and Business Officer • Play a key role in building and maintaining confidence and a positive view of the company • Assist in shaping the corporate narrative and executing on a variety of Investor Relations strategic plans and tactics • Support development of key communications and relationships with investors, analysts, and other key stakeholders
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in science, business or related field; advanced degree preferred (MBA or CFA) with 10-12 years of related experience • Experience in investor relations role for a publicly traded biopharmaceutical company • Strong written communications capability – extensive experience writing press releases and business sections of SEC filings, and developing corporate presentations • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to draft succinct, engaging and impactful messages and articulate a clear and compelling narrative • Demonstrated understanding of financial modeling and comprehension of valuation methods used by analysts and investors • An in-depth understanding of the financial and investment markets • Understanding of regulatory compliance and reporting requirements for publicly traded companies; familiarity with scientific or healthcare regulations and market • Analytical and problem-solving abilities • Enterprise thinker with willingness to also track and drive the details
