Description
• Report to Senior Director overseeing Platform Engineering group • Ensure technical direction meets current and future challenges • Elevate quality, operational excellence, and security • Set vision for approaching complex problems in the future
Requirements
• 15+ years of software development experience • Fast learner • Comfortable working with newer technologies • Able to mentor and grow engineers • Ability to solve complex problems with simple solutions • Expertise in performance, scalability, and engineering best practices • Strong advocate of software quality techniques • Java expertise • Proficient in object-oriented design • Experience with Kafka and streaming architectures • Strong Computer Science fundamentals • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar
