Description

• Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security infrastructure • Conduct regular assessments to identify, analyze, and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities • Lead incident response activities, including investigation, containment, remediation, and post-incident analysis • Perform security audits and ensure compliance with industry standards • Monitor security events and anomalies in real-time • Conduct penetration testing and ethical hacking • Develop and deliver security awareness training to employees • Work closely with development and operations teams to integrate security practices into DevOps pipelines • Develop and maintain security documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent work experience) • Proven experience as a Security Engineer or in a similar role • Strong knowledge of security protocols, encryption, and security frameworks • Experience with security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM systems, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint protection • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, or PowerShell) • Familiarity with cloud security best practices and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations • Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CISM) are a plus • Soft Skills: • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-security standards
