• Assistant Project Manager responsible for planning and daily execution of construction projects • Control project budget and negotiate pricing • Write and distribute bid packages, negotiate contracts and buyouts • Manage day-to-day operations, estimating, and pricing aspects • Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures • Develop cost-effective plans and schedules • Coordinate work of subcontractors, oversee performance of trade contractors • Ensure project documents are complete and stored appropriately • Maintain adherence to budgetary guidelines, quality, and safety standards • Report progress to owners and architects and make necessary modifications • Full-time in-person position with flexibility in schedule • Able to work Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm PST, one Saturday per month • Other responsibilities including project accounting functions, project profitability forecast, and obtaining necessary permits and licenses
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field • Experience: 3-5 years in Construction doing ground-up multifamily • Entrepreneurial aptitude, strong work ethic, and desire to learn • Ability to think critically, communicate effectively, and work with all levels of employees • Detail-oriented with proficiency in Microsoft 365 • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a complex operating environment • Valid driver’s license, flexibility in hours worked, able to lift or move up to 20 pounds • Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally
