• The Mission Operations Lead will oversee and manage all aspects of mission operations, ensuring the successful execution of space missions from pre-launch through post-launch activities. • This role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in space mission operations, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to achieving mission objectives with precision and efficiency.
• Mission Planning: Lead the planning and execution of space missions, including mission design, operational procedures, and coordination with stakeholders. Develop detailed mission plans and schedules. • Operational Oversight: Oversee daily mission operations, ensuring that all activities are executed according to plan and mission objectives. Manage mission control activities and monitor mission progress. • Team Coordination: Coordinate with engineering, operations, and other teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of mission activities. Provide leadership and guidance to mission operations teams. • Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve operational issues and anomalies during missions. Implement corrective actions and ensure that all mission-critical systems are functioning properly. • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain mission documentation, including operational procedures, status reports, and post-mission analyses. Present mission results and recommendations to senior management. • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols. Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to mitigate mission risks. • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in mission operations processes and procedures.
