The Network Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing security measures to protect our network and data systems. This role involves working closely with IT and cybersecurity teams to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our network resources.
Security Design: Develop and implement network security architectures, policies, and controls to protect against threats and vulnerabilities. Monitoring: Continuously monitor network traffic and security alerts to identify and respond to potential threats or security breaches. Incident Response: Manage and respond to network security incidents, including investigating, mitigating, and documenting findings. Vulnerability Management: Perform regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and address network weaknesses. Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant security standards, regulations, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001). Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of network security configurations, policies, procedures, and incident responses. Collaboration: Work with IT and other teams to integrate security measures into network designs and ensure secure operations.
