•As a Software Test Engineer, you are responsible for implementing testing procedures on software programs. •Your tasks include developing testing procedures, conducting software testing, and creating reports on the software's performance.
•Test Planning: Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software requirements and specifications. Define test objectives, scope, and criteria. •Test Execution: Perform manual and automated testing of software applications, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. Execute test cases and document test results. •Issue Identification: Identify, document, and prioritize software defects and issues. Work closely with the development team to reproduce, diagnose, and resolve defects. •Test Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks. Enhance automation processes to improve test coverage and efficiency. •Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports. Ensure all testing activities are documented and traceable. •Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that software meets quality standards and requirements. Provide feedback and recommendations for improvements.
