Description
• Oversee and optimize the entire accounting function • Manage financial audits, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for auditors and lead the month-end close process, delivering timely and accurate financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) • Build for global scale all accounting operations, and reporting functions capable of empowering informed decision-making across the organization • Design and implement robust internal controls to safeguard financial data and mitigate risk • Collaborate with the FP&A team on strategic planning, budgeting, and financial modeling
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CMA a plus) • Minimum 5 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-growth company as a Controller or Assistant Controller • Proven track record of financial reporting, internal controls, and GAAP compliance • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights • Previous exposure to lending and/or banking. Experience with loan accounting. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) and spreadsheets (Excel)
