Description
• Advise on legal strategy and issues for SaaS web3 and blockchain • Collaborate with internal teams in sales, product, engineering, etc. • Draft and negotiate agreements with customers and partners • Counsel product and engineering teams on new launches • Oversee corporate structuring and acquisitions • Build patent and trademark portfolio and advise on data protection laws
Requirements
• 5+ years of legal experience, preferably with a mix of law firm and in-house experience at a high-growth tech company • Strong track record of cross-functional partnership across teams (BD, Finance, Product, Engineering) • Passion for crypto, blockchain technologies, DeFi, DAOs, and/or NFTs • Juris doctor from an accredited law school • Member of a U.S. state bar in good standing, preferably in California or New York • Nice-to-haves: familiarity with financial & securities regulations; Web3 experience; startup experience; experience founding a company or building side projects
