Description
• Responsible for managing and analyzing company's accounting data • Assist Director of Finance with fiscal records and financial reporting • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting • Maintain financial records in compliance with GAAP and other standards • Manage compliance with government reporting requirements • Prepare reconciliations for current asset accounts • Help with payroll and vendor payments • Maintain prepaid and fixed asset schedules • Contribute to a healthy work culture aligning with Alpha USA's values
Requirements
• Bachelors in Accounting or similar qualification • 1-3 years of experience in accounting/finance • CPA and/or MBA/MAFM is a plus • Strong Computer Skills including MS Office, QuickBooks Accounting Software, Raisers Edge • Experience interacting with external auditors, banks and regulatory bodies • Excellent analytical and problem skills required • Flexible, team-player who can work in an efficient, small office environment • Detail oriented and well organized • Ability to set priorities and be flexible and creative in a changing environment • Demonstrates familiarity with the Alpha Course and actively participates at least once per year • Is a self-starter and able to work efficiently in a remote and macro-managed environment
