Description
•Managing full-cycle accounting duties to manage the month-end close process •Manage the payroll processing and payroll systems for all employees •Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. •Identifying and making improvements to Accounting / Finance related workflows •Code and enter vendor expense invoices and other day-to-day financial transactions including transactions with VAT for UK entity •Reconcile revenue, bank, and credit card accounts as well as other balance sheet accounts •Reconcile AP, AR, Cash, Payroll Liabilities each month and ensure accuracy in the ledger •Prepare daily cash flow •Prepare support documentation for the auditor and tax accountants. •Prepare ad hoc reports and document accounting procedures •Ensure compliance with internal control policies
Requirements
•CPA certification is a plus •Sage Intacct experience •Experience in supporting the introduction of new accounting software •Insurance company experience (P&C insurers preferably) •Insurance Accounting experience is strongly preferred •Group Consolidation experience is strongly preferred •UK bookkeeping experience •UK VAT filing experience •Intercompany billing experience •Experience in multi-currency bookkeeping and reporting
