Description

• Lead and manage the end-to-end payroll operations for all employees, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing across multiple countries and jurisdictions. • Ensure data integrity and confidentiality in payroll processing, working to implement best practices in payroll data management. • Manage payroll tax filings, audits, and reporting, ensuring full compliance with statutory requirements. • Collaborate closely with Finance, HR, and Legal teams to develop and implement efficient payroll processes that align with company objectives. • Identify and drive improvements in payroll systems and procedures to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability. • Manage relationships with external payroll vendors, ensuring smooth execution of payroll and ongoing service improvements. • Ensure compliance with multi-jurisdictional payroll regulations, including local labor laws and tax obligations, as well as adherence to internal policies and procedures. • Prepare and present payroll-related insights and reports to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making. • Manage and mentor the payroll team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

• Proven ability to manage relationships with external payroll vendors and service providers. • Excellent leadership skills, with experience managing and mentoring a payroll team. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments and global teams. • Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes for a multi-state organization. • Strong organizational and project management skills and ability to deliver quickly with accuracy. • Outstanding attention to detail and process to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. • Ability to build relationships and collaborate across People Ops, Finance, Accounting, Legal, and more. • Prior experience to thrive in a fast-paced, hyper-growth organization. • A strong desire to help others. • Proficiency in multiple payrolls, HRIS, and financial systems. • Preferred Workday HCM/Payroll experience. • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
