• To support rapid international business growth, we are hiring a Senior Principal Product Manager. • You will lead product definition, vision, and launch products from cradle to grave. • Drive interactions with engineering teams, lead customer discussions, develop go-to-market strategies, and work with senior leaders on the vision and customer impact. • Based in Santa Clara, this position requires an in-person presence, offering a unique opportunity to impact our global operations directly.
• 15 years’ experience working in product management, product marketing, or business development or relevant customer facing functions in semiconductor companies. • Experience with building first-generation products in fields such as Optical fiber, DSP/Linear Drivers/TIAs, VCSEL/EML/SiPho, High-Speed PHYs, and PCIe/Ethernet protocols. • Excellent communication, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence across senior leadership teams at both Astera and the Customer. • Detail oriented and customer focused, with the ability to summarize complex data and produce a compelling, yet simple narrative. • Authorized to work in the US and start immediately. • Must have thorough market knowledge of server, storage, cloud, and data center segment. • Proficient technical knowledge of PCIe/CXL/Ethernet protocol, standards, and optical market. • Proficient understanding of system level architectures in the datacenter. • Proficient understanding of AI Training and Inference and associated data movement. • Proven track record of establishing new, first-generation, product lines and entering new markets. • Demonstrated ability to plan, initiate and execute new collaborations with multiple customers and partners across the ecosystem. • Direct experience working closely with cloud service providers, data center OEMs/ODMs, CPU/GPU vendors and switch/cable suppliers. • Partnered with industry ecosystem and standards organizations such as PCI-SIG, CXL Consortium, IEEE, etc. • Technical Marketing/Sales/Business Development experiences in the semiconductor industry preferred.
